A PASSAGE THROUGH A MODERN INDIAN VILLAGE
Food preservation and cooking are not just acts of survival or sustenance; they are cultural rituals that tell the stories of ingredients, landscapes, and communities. When we preserve food—through drying, fermenting, salting, or curing—we are capturing the essence of a moment in time, allowing flavours and nutrients to be safeguarded for the future. Each preserved item carries with it a memory of the season, the soil, and the hands that cultivated it.
A series of moments where food becomes a medium for cultural exchange. Inspired by the vibrant markets of India, the compositions reinterpret everyday rituals of display andpreservation, blending them with flavors and practices from different parts of the world.Through these modest actions, everyday habits are reimagined. The ritual does not aim toreplicate an existing tradition, but to create space for encounter—where sound, taste, and gestureintersect, and where cultural references are woven into a new, collective experience.

Transforming former library into a start-up center and incubator hub located in Heilbronn, South Germany. The goal was to connect two areas, the atrium with outside garden and office interior in particular way, where they seamlessly co-exist.

The Idea of New Narrative workshop was that of an interdisciplinary community with the aim coming to a common narrative. Narrative is not understood exclusively in literary terms: the construction of buildings, collecting material and cooking of food are also part of the discourse.
Each group approached narrative from its own perspective—through making and constructing, observing and recording, telling and shaping stories, engaging with materials, or preparing and sharing food. Halfway through the workshop, the groups shifted. Participants moved to a different group, stepping into a process already in motion. As a result, the narratives that had begun in one group were continued, altered, or reinterpreted by others.
Through this process, narrative became a collective and evolving practice. Meaning emerged not from a single author or discipline, but from transitions, overlaps, and encounters between different modes of working.

A study in texture, in finding form through what's foraged. Vessels glazed with what the forest and the sea left behind — moss, bark, mushrooms, oyster shell, stone, melted back into surface.
Round, oak sticks - carpentry leftover, re-used in the form of a cutting board. The form is inspired by the shape of different bread silhouettes.

Dea's work spans from the creation of objects and spatial landscapes to culinary installations. Her style is characterised by natural shapes and materials used in captivating compositions.
Dea often uses food both as an inspiration and a tool: as an object of desire, playful installations that trigger curiosity, but also as a ritual element that gets people to interact. Objects and delicately thought-out spatial installations, therefore, play an important role in creating these unique visual and tactile experiences.
Her design and interior background lead to that unique style in all of her projects, seen in the thoughtful spatial compositions and a fine sense of details.
